#tuesdaysarealwaysbetter It’s Tuesday and we made it! Unfortunately this beautiful SS had a real bad case of the mondays a few months back! ... The car came to us in non running condition and the local GM dealer could not identify the issue. We started our diagnosis and quickly found we had a big one in our hands. We moved onto a bore scope and found we were missing a few important parts. This is probably the most catastrophic failure we’ve seen being an auto with just headers, air intake and ECU calibration. Soooo.. We got to work and put together an affordable healthy combo using a low mileage donor LS3 from another client that had upgraded to a LSx B15, freshened up a set of donor LS3 heads, donor LS3 intake, new GM oil cooler, oil Pan, pickup and windage tray. We add a BTR STG2 cam kit for some added power and that #chopchop and a CircleD 3200 convertor to bring the package together. We wrapped it up in house on our dyno jet via HP Tuners software. This ‘10 SS was purchased used and came in with major issues and was down for the count. The STS kit had many issues and the decision was made to remove the system and go back NA. Super clean 2014 Silverado in for a calibration today. The truck was rocking @kooksheaders LT’s, @corsaperformance catback and an @slpperformanceparts TVS1900. Made a cool 433 whp / 424 wtq via HP Tuners software. ... The truck was running QT 91 octane and octane limited as it sits. made 13 whp with less timing. We also made a few other changes that will surely make for a more enjoyable toy. Enjoy!
