When my kids were young my Dad once said "these are fleeting years, enjoy them" He was right. My three children are now 20 something and my first granddaughter 17 months old. In our extended family we also experienced a recent unexpected loss of someone my age. These are hard things to discuss but financial planning is a reality and something that we must prepare for.
