Honey Timbers

Of course we had to sneak out and go mushroom hunting. We are official 2nd year champs of finding mushrooms before a certain someone we won’t name. Sorry Pat. The yellows aren’t up yet here but should be within the next few weeks!

We got a call last week about bees being in an awning over a hot tub. Today we opened up the roof to find a dead out with a few honeybees robbing the resources that were left over. As we are not in the market for more hives, we called some friends that are fairly new to beekeeping that lost several hives over the winter. Unfortunately this wasn’t meant to be to provide them with another hive. It was just a cold, harsh winter. Good news is there was lots of beeswax!

And if you don’t like Kale.... dehydrate it and spread it EVERYWHERE
