"I live down the street from Judy's Greenhouse, a little local business with three large greenhouses. All winter these are covered with snow and ice...dark and ...shut up tight. But in February, the grow-lights go on at night to keep the tiny bedding plants warm and alive for the April opening. "It blesses me to pass there on a snowy cold evening, and glimpse the promise of spring hiding within those greenhouses. To me, the Word of God is like a greenhouse. Protecting the living seeds of Eternity, and even though the doors have not opened yet, we can peer inside and see what God has prepared for those who love Him. "The Bible is a seed-catalogue put into your mailbox on an icy dark day. It is a greenhouse full of living promises that have not yet reached their maturity.
