Update on water issue from the Mayor: The unpleasant odor in your neighborhood water is associated with naturally occurring pipe sediments stirred upon during normal valve exercising in your neighborhood today. The Water remains safe to drink. Water Division employees are currently flushing the water system this evening where complaints have been received. In the event an odor is detected in the water inside the home, customers are encouraged to flush their water faucets and toilets starting nearest to their water service entry point. We apologize for this inconvenience. If an odor remains after in-home flushing or if it is noticed in the morning, please call Public Works at 636-639-5102 after 7 am to report your location and provide a call back phone number so we can visit the water main serving your home and flush it again.
