Help Humane 29.12.2020

Our last adoption of 2020 and # 190 feline adoption for the year. ADOPTED! Orianna was too young and tiny to be having babies and it was at least her second litter in a neighborhood, what?! A Good Sam helped track her last litter down and get them all into the shelter. All her babies had went home but she waited patiently and the BAM, she spotted her new cat daddy come in her room at the shelter and she put herself on his shoulder and refused to move. Gorgeous Tiny Orianna knew what she was doing because you know they have adopted you already when this happens!! Happy safe indoor no-more-kittens life sweet girl, way to go!!! *cyndi

ADOPTED! This incredible boy lost his home because of a pregnancy :-( He is seriously one of the sweetest most loving boy kitty. Kazimir loves to cuddle with anyone and everyone, even strangers! Because of this, he got his new family almost immediately. Lucky for him, he gets to be with a family where he is the only feline sibling to several human siblings and canine siblings! The first night in his new home, he made sure and met all the family and asked for belly rubs! Then promptly slept with one of the kids for the night! Way to go handsome boy!! I predict happy in all their futures!! Welcome to the new year buddy!! (Please ignore his pizza circle, he just got neutered in time to go home. Pizza Circle is more comfortable than a conehead :-) *cyndi

ADOPTED! No one could figure out why Mr Blondie was not getting adopted. Seriously, this guy had been living on the streets and was actively asking for a home. He came into our shelter so we could help him make that happen. Weeks went on by and no one chose him?! These always stump us but we leave it to fate and the day after Christmas 2020, Mr Blondie's family came, they were former adopters! Yay for former adopters and Mr Blondie is now home!! *cyndi

ADOPTED! Larry and Edie were found on the streets with a mama kitty. Larry and Edie came in to be socialized and mama cat, who was feral, was spayed and returned to her home outside. A great family who recently lost their senior kitty came to adopt kittens for Christmas and they fostered them until they were both able to get spayed and neutered. Their adoption was official on Christmas Eve!! Two blood siblings in their new family for Christmas with 2 human siblings! Yay!!! What a great Christmas for the 2 little ones, both human and furry!! *cyndi

ADOPTED! Zach and Zoey were dumped outside along with the sis. Such sweet kittens didnt deserve that, no helpless beings do :-( Their sister Matilda went home and then it was their turn to go home together! A family had fell on hard times and lost a lot but had made their way back and the last thing they needed to do was get a kitty for their new home and family. Great job family, so glad you made it back and gave this little pair a lot of happiness also. Happy second chances all of you!! *cyndi

ADOPTED! Heather had spent most of her young life on the streets begging food and raising tons of kittens, how sad is that?! Then one day a Good Sam began helping her and shortly thereafter, another litter popped and this Good Sam decided she was going to help her out of this situation. After all, can you imagine no help, you cant help yourself, what can you do? She came into the shelter and OMG, Heather is the most sweetest, loving, grateful, fun girl. That is what happens w...hen someone reaches out and helps the helpless! A young family with a couple young children came in to adopt an adult cat and Heather was just as sweet as possible with the kids. Probably because she ran into children in her time on the streets. Welcome home Heather, may you never have to scavenge for food or warmth with a family in tow!! Happy life you deserve girlfriend! *cyndi See more

Now she is snuggled into her new home and no worries about being outside this cold winter. Love you little girl!! Happy life!! *cyndi

ADOPTED! This incredibly handsome boy had a bad start in life. He was tormented and teased and tossed out. A Good Sam went and rescued him from the outdoors he was not accustomed to and brought him to us. This poor guy had serious PTSD from his treatment. We all took our time and constantly reassured him all that was over. He was constantly on guard but less intimidated by men. We have several men volunteers that are awesome cat daddies and they worked with him and you could ...see his guard dropping some times. We had an amazing couple come in and for some reason Magnum just walked right up to them asking for attention and affection. Well, we now know that was because it was his new family!! This awesome couple heard all about his story and were not deterred. They took him home on a foster-to-adopt basis and OMG, came back to adopt him and dared us to try and take him back :-) They had photos and videos of him lounging and also with his sibling of which you could see by looks alone they could have been blood siblings. I cant even express how this makes all of us feel. Magnum needed a hero and he got several in his journey out of the dark! The most awesome heroes in this journey are his adopters, he knew that was who they were before anyone else knew! Unpack those bags gorgeous, now you will know what a real family is like!! XOXO *cyndi See more

ADOPTED! Roni and Roger were two of the starving family that were dumped on us in the middle of the night a couple months ago. That entire family was the sweetest most grateful loving babies (and mama) EVER. Their adopters recently lost both of the senior cats within a short space of time :-( They are wonderful supporters of HELP Humane and although the kittens are already reminding them just how much energy little kittens have, they have only had seniors for many many years :-) Happy life to you babies and new mamas, try and keep up, will ya!? *cyndi
