We have been on full blown kid watch for 3 days now. I told her that if she has them today that we would name one of them Emmanuel.

Today is Heaven On Earth's 18th Anniversary! We normally have our annual branding party the third week of August but due to our cattle social distancing their calves we haven't had all of our calves yet this year. We are postponing our branding party this year until October 17, 2020 Gathering at 1:00 PM. Branding starts at 2:00 PM. In addition to our normal festivities we will be announcing the parentage of the calves this year based on DNA testing. (At one point we had 3 bul...ls running with the cows.) Pictures below are of the 3 possible sires of this year's calf crop. Meal as always is provided with this year's theme being Chuckwagon food. Movie at dusk, Kids games, giveaways... Please save the date on your calendar. We look forward to seeing you!

We have been collecting a representative sample from each honey harvest since we started this venture. Attached are pictures of those samples. Please notice the changes in color during each year. Picture number 1 is from 2017 (L) 6/28 (M) 7/29 (R) 8/19 Picture number 2 is from 2018 (L) 6/20 (R) 8/19.... Picture number 3 is from 2019 (L) 7/28 (R) 9/15 Picture number 4 is from 7/5/20. Picture number 5 is a comparison of 7/28/19 & 7/5/20. This years bumper crop of white and alsike clover has definitely lightened the honey color. Don't worry though, it still has all of its flavor! It is hard to imagine that 4 years have passed since Heaven On Earth became verified by the Missouri Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Stewardship Assurance Program (ASAP). ASAP champions Missouri farmers who are using efficient and sustainable practices in their operation. We are currently certified in the Livestock Management category and Specialty Crops. Our Livestock Management certificate covers our Longhorn Cattle, Cross Bred Dairy Goats and our Pasture Raised Ch...icken. Our Specialty Crops covers our Blueberries, Raspberries, Thornless Blackberries, Asparagus, Grapes, Fruit Trees and our Honey production. We are looking to become certified in Pasture Management and Homesteading soon.
