TJ Loudis became severely ill from COVID-19, and was hospitalized for several days. Even weeks after his discharge, however, side effects and symptoms didn't completely resolve. Here, he shares more about his experience, and why it's important to stay vigilant and take this seriously.

If you are taking care of someone over the age of 60, please be mindful. Mask up, try to keep social distance, but engage them in your life. It is so hard to do, I know. Phone calls, cards, outside visits mean a lot. We are all in this together! #seniorsdeservebetter #elderlyfolksmatter

Remember to keep the big dog from jumping on Grandma, make sure your uncle with dementia isn't upset by the loud fireworks, ask Grandpa if he is too hot sitting outside and would like to move indoors...and as always, have fun and savor the moments with the older adults in your life! (I have to boss you around a little, right?)
