All good things must come to an end, and our pop-up is no exception. We are down to our final weeks as a pop-up; Friday, Feb 17th will be our last day lighting the oven inside of Plowboys BBQ. This has been a wonderful experience for us and we are so grateful to Plowboys BBQ for allowing us to inhabit their space for the last two and a half months. In the process we have made great pizzas, had great return customers, and made some great friends. We would like to thank our customers for their continued support. We our ending our time as a pop-up to focus our energy to even greater and bigger things for Heartwood. Please check this space often for information regarding our future endeavors.

What makes our crust special? Natural leavening and slow fermentation before baking in an 800 degree brick oven. This allows for the breakdown of carbohydrates and glutens, making for a more flavorful and easily digested crust.

Flour, Water, Salt. (and Love.) That is all that goes into our crust. No preservatives, no commercial yeast, and never frozen. Just keepin' it simple. #keepitsimple
