PLEASE SHARE!!! Mobile Food Pantry THIS Wednesday, April 14th at 3:00 pm. Located at Belton Assembly of God in the parking lot, 613 E. North Avenue. Parking lot opens at 2:00pm. This is free food to those in need in the community! You show up anytime after the parking lot is open, we will start pushing cars through the line at 3pm, you'll pop your trunk or backseat door and our volunteers will load you up with tons of fresh produce and food. No income requirements, no geograp...hical restrictions, just free food to help your family. We have been needing some volunteers so if you're interested in serving at this event, please reach out to us!

Free food for kids ages 3-18 today AND EVERY TUESDAY from 3:30pm-5:30pm at Belton Assembly of God. The church next to QT here in Belton: 613 E. North Avenue! Each kid gets enough food for 7 dinners, 7 snacks, and a gallon of milk. The only question asked at the distribution is child's name.

We've done 3 weeks worth of stays already this morning costing almost $600. $300 has been donated so far with requests flying in from people in need. If you have the means to give, you can give on our website. Every dollar donated to this fund will be spent directly on shelter and heat needs. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS. FOOD DROP FOR 2/10/2021 HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Unfortunately with the freezing temps and slick parking lots, it is not safe for us to have food drop this week. IF YOU NEED GROCERIES, there are 3 options coming up: 1. Call HNH at 816-322-1133 between 10am-2pm this week to schedule a food pantry appointment for Friday. We will have extra appointments available! 2. Food drop at New Horizons Church of the Nazarene in West Belton on the 20th at noon. ... 3. Food drop at Rock Brook Church by Hy-Vee on the 27th at noon. WITH THE FREEZING TEMPS: - We are opening up a giving fund specifically for hotel stays and housing this week. These funds will provide shelter to homeless during the next few weeks with the freezing weather AND go towards those with utilities turned off - living without heat. - If you need shelter or heat, call HNH and we will be in contact ASAP! The police station here in Belton also has a warming station that can be used during the evenings. - We also have a warming shelter 10am-2pm at 200 B. Street M-F. This may change/extend temporarily and if it does, we will share with you all!
