Congratulations to David L. Evans, Senior Harvard Admissions Officer, and former Admissions Representative for the Western Kansas/Eastern Missouri region who will receive the 2020 Harvard Medal of Honor. Many Harvard/Radcliff Club Alumni had the pleasure of meeting David on his annual recruiting trips to the region.
9 students were admitted to Harvard from the Kansas City region this year and an additional 16 were wait listed. This is the highest number of admissions we have had in several years. Congratulations to the students and thank you to the Schools Committee Chair and the interviewers. If you would like to interview candidates for the Class of 2025, let us know.
As many of us aren't getting out for face to face interaction, please join us over at the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Kansas City Facebook group for discussion. We have great interaction on this writer's class year Facebook group, but it would be nice to have a Kansas City focused forum as well.
Reminder - Saturday, February 1 - Come and participate in interviewing prospective Harvard students on our "Blitz" interview day at Barstow School. Private message us with your email address if you can make it and didn't receive the email from the club and we will pass the message along to Elisa.
