To our patients: We all have a lot of questions and concerns about COVID-19. Chiropractors are considered essential health care providers and our office will continue to see patients during the Greene and Christian County Stay at Home order that becomes effective Thursday, March 26, 2020. We will be open normal business hours, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. It is important for us to assist people to be as strong and functionally healthy as possible. ... We are following CDC guidelines for our facility to limit exposure and spread of COVID-19, including, but not limited to proper sanitizing of surfaces, social distancing and screening procedures of all patients. Patients who feel unwell, have a sore throat, cough, fever and/or shortness of breath should not be seen in the clinic and instead follow up with their primary physician or other health care facility prepared to deal with those symptoms. For those who have recently traveled outside of the country, it is recommended to self-quarantine for a minimum of 14 days upon return. Please call us at 417-862-1922 if you have any questions or concerns we can assist with. In the coming days and weeks, please consider the overall health benefits of chiropractic care for you and your family to keep your immune system as strong and healthy as possible. We had a fun workshop with the Fleet Feet Springfield training groups this weekend! The focus was self-care and injury prevention for runners!

Yesterday I had the pleasure to eat lunch with some older friends and they were recalling the first-hand experiences that they had with friends and family members who had suffered with polio. We talked about iron lungs and the crippling affects of this terrible disease. I also recall from my youth a few people who were disabled from this disease. Much has changed today. Polio has been virtually eradicated from our planet, largely due to the work of Rotary and the Bill and Mel...inda Gates foundation providing billions of dollars to massive vaccination campaigns all over the world. Only 3 countries today, Pakistan, Afganistan, and Nigeria still have breakouts of this virus. If you are in the clinic this week you may see a small red bucket on the counter, I would hope you might have some loose change in your pocket that you can add to our fundraising campaign. It’s bittersweet today as we say goodbye to Cassie! She has been with us for over ten years. We will miss her smiling face and beautiful personality but we wish her all the best. You’re the best, Cassie!
