I can't stress how important it is to make a backup of your PC on a routine basis. I would also stress its very important to make a RECOVERY DISK of you PC if you don't have the original disk. I have completed my first HP DV7 17.3" LED screen replacement just under 2 hours. I was a little concerned when starting, but once I got started it went smoothly. I took my time with removal of the parts and thank God for magnetized screw drivers. Putting it back together went rather quickly. End result one happy momma (Tana).
