ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 (NOVEL CORONAVIRUS): As many of your know, Happy Rock Farms opened its doors in late October 2019. We haven't had a lot of time to prepare for a situation such as we are in, and we are extremely grateful to the community for its outpouring of support in the past few days. Based on our research, feedback from customers, and advice from local authorities, we have (at this time) decided to make a few changes that will ultimately benefit our cust...omers, and our community. Happy Rock Farms will remain open with some operational changes for the safety of our staff and our customers. We prioritize the health and well-being of our team members, customers, and community. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations, we are taking several steps to remain vigilant and prevent the further spread of this virus. We also know your plants are part of the food supply chain and/or medical supply chain and are vitally important for people throughout our area. Happy Rock Farms will be open during regular business hours (Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm; Sunday 12-4pm) but we are shifting some of our in-store procedures to limit the number of people in our store. We are allowing no more than 2 shoppers in our store at a time (maintaining at least 6 feet of distance between other shoppers and HRF staff, and once that threshold has been reached the door will be locked (and we’ll hang a sign on the door explaining all of this). Once a customer checks out and leaves the store we’ll let them out, and let the next shopper in, and so forth. CURBSIDE SERVICE If you prefer, you may send a message to 913.486.8509, including your shopping list and when you want to pick it up, we’ll make sure we have everything you’re needing, and reply with confirmation and request payment information from you. When you arrive, you we’ll bring the items out to your car and put them in your trunk (you can stay in your car the whole time). In addition, we will also be implementing enhanced cleaning procedures, reducing employee contact with all customers, and handling all cash and cards using Nitrile gloves. We encourage all customers to practice proactive preventative measures as well. If you feel sick or are exhibiting symptoms, please refrain from visiting Happy Rock Farms, stay inside and contact a medical professional. We are also working on other enhanced safety measures including small-order delivery, but aren’t quite ready to roll that out at this time. Stay tuned for further announcements and/or status updates.
