One of the region's premier groups, The Grand Marquis, is visiting Liberty's own Johnnie’s Jazz Bar & Grille at the B&B Theatre, and we can't wait to hear that blend of Americana one more time! Romance is in the air for Kansas City once again! Mid-Continent Public Library welcomes the 2019 Romance Genrecon at the Woodneath Library Center, just a few minutes from the hotel, and will have reading events for the fans, writing workshops for aspiring authors, and a welcome party on Friday for several celebrity authors!

One of our favorites parts of Liberty is back this weekend! The Liberty Farmer's Market runs all summer long on Saturday mornings in Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc., and is a great place for fresh fruits and vegetables, and a charming taste of local culture too!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! The Grand Carnivale at Worlds of Fun is starting tomorrow, and is all set to be the highlight of the summer! Grab your kids, grab your tickets, and have an absolute blast at the parade, and remember to try some of the treats from the cultural celebrations too!

Exciting new event coming to Worlds of Fun, starting this weekend! The Grand Carnivale will open up this Saturday for the first time EVER in Kansas City, and will have live music, street performers, and international food and drinks from China, Germany, France, and more! Make sure you take lots of picture, and bring us back a souvenir for the front desk!

Liberty's very own Fourth of July Festival is just around the corner! LibertyFest is free for everybody, and hosted by the Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc. at Fountain Bluff this Tuesday! Bring your kids, bring some snacks, and remember to bring your appetite, the LibertyFest is full of snacks, drinks (for both kids and adults!), and fun activities for kids of all ages!

The Downtown Open is back for the 4th year in a row! Get your short game, as this urban golf course lets you pick a route right through some of the most iconic parts of Kansas City! Clubs and golf balls are provided, and the whole course is built around the KC Streetcar, so no carts required. You'll play through the River Market, putt around the Downtown Library, and tee off outside the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts! Bring a team of 4 or make some new friends; either way, the Downtown Open is a fun way to visit KC landmarks!

Congratulations to Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc. and to the crew at Quilting Is My Therapy! The 2nd Annual Quilt Walk was an astonishing success, and we were delighted to welcome so many guests traveling from all over the US to see you in action. For any traveling quilters out there, they've already put out the Save the Date for next year's event, so now's the time to start getting your show pieces ready!

The Chiefs might still be warming up for kick-off in August, but Arrowhead Stadium is still going to be rocking this weekend! If you're visiting Kansas City this weekend, and looking for something fun to do, check out the Monster Jam, and make sure to bring some earplugs, cause it's gonna get loud!

We're almost to the big day! Miles Excavating inc. will be bringing down the Hwy-152 Overpass this Friday night, and we can't wait for the new bridges to open in just a few short months. Fortunately for our guests, most of the routes to our parking lot will have no changes at all during this time! If you are driving from the North, such as Iowa or Kearney, or from the West, such as from KCI Airport, your drive will be exactly the same. If you are driving up from the South, s...uch as from Downtown KC, or from Oklahoma, just get off one exit sooner at Pleasant Valley Road, and follow Church Road straight to the Hampton Inn! If you are heading East, such as to the Liberty Triangle, Historic Downtown Liberty, or William Jewell College, you can go around the construction either by heading North to the 291 Overpass, or South to the Flintlock Flyover. Whichever way you choose, the added drive should not be more than 5 or 6 minutes! As always, our onsite Front Desk Staff is here and happy to help with any questions you might have!
