CONGRATULATIONS to Michael Buschjost of St. Thomas on taking this 10-year-old, 6X6 bull elk yesterday outside of the refuge portion of Peck Ranch Conservation Area. He is one of five lucky Missourians randomly drawn for Missouri’s first elk season.

CONGRATULATIONS to Joe Benthall of Mount Vernon MO on harvesting this 2.5-year-old 5x5 bull elk Saturday afternoon on National Park Service property near Log Ya...rd by Ellington. He was the first of five MO hunters selected for elk permits to harvest an elk. The elk firearms season runs through Dec. 20 for the other four. See more
