Leaf Man The perfect story and activity for a windy day Transient art using natural resources This morning we went to our local park to collect leaves, a...corns, conkers and pine cones, before coming home and reading the story Leaf Man Once the story had the finished the children went and got creative with the leaves and items we had collected from the park, they made leaf men, leaf monsters, fish, smiley faces and so much more One of children also tried tried making a caterpillar by glueing the conkers together but she soon realised that it wouldn’t work very well, so we tried making holes in the conkers instead using a small screwdriver before using screwdriver again to push the string through the holes
