Gateway to Hope

Gateway to Hope was founded by physicians that saw a need. Our organization is focused on providing emotional and financial assistance to patients so they can focus on what really matters - facing breast cancer.

The main way the people at Gateway to Hope helped me was to treat me with respect. I always feel I am being treated with dignity. I did not feel like a failure because I had to ask for help. This is how all people with a chronic disease should feel. - Gail, GTH Recipient

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. 60% of those women will be faced with crippling financial decisions - like choosing between life-saving medicine or feeding their families. Together, we can remove financial barriers and empower women to access the treatment they need.

Betty's Story - Betty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998. Since then, four other members of her family have been diagnosed with breast cancer, all were treated successfully. This Christmas, instead of exchanging gifts, family and relatives of Aunt Betty honored her memory and celebrated the women in their family that have faced breast cancer with donations to Gateway to Hope.
