Three #GSSIMR predocs participated in this week's program on diversity in life sciences, done in partnership with PREP-KC for local schools. Sharing their experiences were Julia Peloggia de Castro, Piotrowski Lab; José López Hernández, Zanders Lab; and Karla Terrazas-Falcon, Trainor Lab.

Recent #GSSIMR grad Nikki Nuckolls has a new paper online in eLife now! The work describes how Wtf proteins selectively cause cell death using different types of aggregates. Nikki did her predoctoral research in the Zanders Lab. Congrats, Nikki! https://elifesciences.org/articles/55694
