During the 44th Great Pershing Balloon Derby merchandise may be purchased in the parking lot of the Brookfield Elks Lodge during the following times: September 4th: 4:00 pm- 9:00 pm, September 5th: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm and September 6th: 3:00 - 8:00 pm. Hello everyone! We are three weeks away from the start of the 44th Great Pershing Balloon Derby. We would like to THANK all of our loyal sponsors, advertisers and balloon pilots who continue to show their support of our event. With the changes we had to implement this year to put on a safe event, we are so fortunate to have this backing! We will be selling a commemorative pass for the event that can be purchased at NCM Graphics in Brookfield if you would like to show your support. Although things will be different, we will still have beautiful balloons in the air over Brookfield this Labor Day weekend! THANK YOU TO ALL!

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays thee from hanging this baby!! First time we've hung it in the rain but what fun!

As with everything recently, we have had to implement changes for the 44th Great Pershing Balloon Derby. It is our goal to put on a fun, successful event while keeping your health and safety at the forefront of our minds. After much thought, we felt the following changes were necessary. We will not be having our Friday Night South Main Night Flame or our Saturday Twin Parks activities. We also made the decision to close the Myron Peacher Memorial Launch Field to spectator...s. We will have balloon flights and our Saturday parade down Main Street and we would be grateful if you would practice social distancing while joining us. We understand the Derby will be very different than years past but we do hope you understand. We plan to fly over Brookfield every flight, weather permitting. So watch for our scheduled flight times and keep your eyes to the skies for the beautiful sight of balloons in the air over Labor Day Weekend! See more
