Looks like Spring Tomato~planting weather is here! And we've got 'em here for you! With over 20 varieties of tomato plants in stock, you'll surely find the correct one for your needs! We've included an info sheet for you to check the different types of tomatoes available at Greasy Creek. Our plants are super~healthy, dark green, with strong stalks that will produce well for you! Of course, we also have lots of other garden plants available, and all 4 packs are $1.79.... We had a huge Saturday last week, but still have LOTS of plants ready to go! Mother’s Day Week!! Wow! Last weekend was huge here at Greasy Creek, but we still have several beautiful baskets to choose from for your special Mom(s)! We also have lots of nice flowers in 4 packs, singles, small pots, and patio/porch pots. We’re sorting things out this morning, and will try to post some pics as we go. We also have lots of garden veggie plants for those who haven’t planted yet. Lots of hard-to-get items right now, like cucumbers, burpless cucumbers, okra..., yellow squash, spaghetti squash, zucchini squash, melons, and several others. We also still have some onion sets (Texas Candy). We decided to keep our sale price on veggie 4 packs ($1.59) through this week. Do you enjoy cooking with traditional Cast Iron?? The Greasy Creek Trading Post will be open this Saturday (9am), featuring lots of beautiful, refurbished cast iron cookware. We’ve been collecting nice pieces for the last 12 years, and during the winter we finally got the opportunity to refurbish them! This Saturday we are opening up our sales on these beauties, which include many sizes, shapes, and brands of pans, mainly frying pans (there’s actually more than shown in the... pics). Most are made in USA, and we even have some pieces of Wagner Ware and Griswold mixed in these, but they won’t last long. Whether it’s pancakes, eggs, bacon, ground beef, or cornbread the old folks say it always tastes better in cast iron! This will be happening along with our Fundraiser Breakfast tomorrow (Sat, April 3rd). The General Store is LOADED with bedding plants, garden vegetable plants, and flower baskets, all at reasonable prices, so stop by and check them out, as well! Hope to see you at the Store!
