Steel is going up for the new 40,800 SF expansion of icon Mechanical's current headquarters in Granite City, Illinois. The new two-story, tilt-up concrete exterior will include a subtle blend of neutral colors with accents of icon’s red branding in corrugated metal fabricated on site. Daylighting was a driving factor in the design featuring large central skylights. The highly collaborative new space includes a work café, open lobby with a monumental stair and hospitality conference space. Construction is well underway for the new Residence Inn by Marriott in Lancaster, CA. This extended stay hotel will include 107 rooms and serve as an excellent option for visitors to Lancaster's thriving aerospace community including Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman Corporation.
