Congratulations to GHS teacher Ms. Josephine Goeke! Dr. Rodrequez surprised her with the Above and Beyond award during her zoom class today. Earlier this year Ms. Goeke noticed one of her students needed immediate medical assistance during her zoom class. She jumped into action by notifying emergency personnel to help. We are grateful for her efforts in being there for her students and going 'Above and Beyond!' (Due to technical audio issues our Facebook Live video of the annoucements cannot be shared.) #WeAreGrandview

A picture says a thousand words... this one below says this teacher, like all the others at Belvidere is working harder than she has ever had to in order to mee...t the needs of every student. The teachers this year are doing their best to engage students virtually, in person, for a limited amount of time and still deliver the quality education that our students can’t afford to lose. They stress daily about whether their students are accessing the virtual learning on their own, whether what they are doing is enough, whether there is something more they could do, some better way to make this crazy situation a successful one. I applaud all the teachers at Belvidere for their dedication to our students and our families. Even in times that are stressful in so many ways, the students are their passion and their focus. Thank you teachers! You mean so much to the whole Bobcat squad!
