This week is National Volunteer Appreciation Week and we can't thank and celebrate our volunteers here at GAP enough! Our volunteers donate over 4,000 hours of work to GAP every year. Without our volunteers, GAP simply would not be able to touch the lives of so many in our community. Our doors remain open because of volunteers, families are fed because of our volunteers, students have school supplies because of our volunteers, children have coats and Christmas gifts because of our volunteers. The Chive, Simply Good Cafe/Market will be hosting a food drive this weekend for the GAP pantry. If you haven't tried the amazing food at the Chive, this is the perfect time! If you have already had their food.... you know why you need to come back and see them. We can always you non-perishable items but we can really use the following hygiene items: tooth paste, mens deodorant, women's body wash, body lotion, baby wipes. #greatfoodgreatcommunitypartners
