This is common plantain. It grows in your backyard as a weed that messes up the beauty of your lawn! LOL! However, this "weed" is the best homeopathic relief ...for all those summer rashes such as poison ivy, heat rash, poison oak, etc. Just pick and wash the leaves, crush/cut or tear them up. Cut a panty hose leg off to the length desired, fill it with the plantain leaves and toss in your bath. Soak for 10-15 minutes with the plantain. I can attest from using this myself, on the kids and my Mother, that it works better than prednisone and/or shots. This remedy has worked when a visit to the Dr. did very little to stop the insane itch or promote healing! I won't say this "cure" is for everyone, as we all have individual chemistry differences.
