We are excited to announce that Mayor Mike Todd of Grain Valley has selected Jim Kissick as their 2018 Citizen of the Year to be honored at the Toast to our Towns Gala on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

I am pleased to announce a new addition to the I-70 interchange. City staff has been working with the owner of the Temp Stop, LLC to open a new location in Gra...in Valley. After several months of discussions and project review, I can finally announce the existing Conoco (SE Corner of the I-70 Interchange) has been acquired by Temp-Stop, LLC. as the site of their newest location. In the coming months, they will close and demolish the existing Conoco to make way for the new store. The new convenience store will serve as a fueling station for passenger vehicles and will include a larger fueling canopy for RV and light duty pickup trucks with trailers. The store will no longer provide fueling services for large over the road tractor-trailers. In addition, the new Temp Stop will include a food plaza that will house Champs Chicken and BluTACO.
