Last week was so full of inspiration! Together we raised nearly $1000 in monetary and gift card contributions. Our first goal is to be present and get these Lil heros out of a trash bag mentality. They should only be grasping support over their shoulders. This is where they develope the tools to shoulder themselves and others. It's so beautiful. Thank you all.. #fostercareawareness

Hello all! We’ve got a young lady age range 16-18 who is about to move into her first foster home from residential. We’re blessed to have received this inspirational bed set but she’s only coming with the clothes on her back. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to provide a bit of assistance to take her to pick out some clothes when she arrives. As you all may know, we’ve been managing this outreach through very limited space at a storage unit. While we’re blessed to have this space, it’s been quite the challenge getting our lils packages together in a quick and safe way. We’re so so so happy to announce we will be retiring the storage unit within the next month and moving everything to a new location equipped with donated storage shelving units and totes. This is such a huge step towards our goal of eventually havin...g a building for them to go and know this is a safe place no matter what’s left outside. A place they’ll learn to take their hardships and realize how loud their voice should be heard. As they realize their potential in themselves and their surroundings and become mentors instead of going down a path that would otherwise be influenced.. Like I did. Somewhere they’ll know people they’re opening up to are actually going to pay attention. We actually know what you’re going through. Finding a family may not have happened for all of us, but there is a community within foster care that can be found and nurtured if we allow it. Please continue putting out good vibes,words, prayer, and keep this cause strong! P.s. We will be beginning our own journey into this passion with foster care in our new home just as soon as we get settled in. The last 5 years of being with Brent and 27 of being in existence has led us to this very point in life. Can’t express how much this support has done for me and we hope it will do for our lils.
