Celebrating our Founding Members and two years of Making A Difference Every-day! Also, Happy Birthday to our leader!! Thank you for your support! You are Game Changers!
Gary Pinkel visited the Special Learning Center in Jefferson City, Mo. in November of 2020. Here, he presented them with a $16,000 grant on behalf of the GP M.A.D.E. Foundation. The grant was used to purchase sensory panels and adaptive interactive play items for the children. April 2021 marks the two year anniversary of GP M.A.D.E., as we approach this anniversary we are taking a look back at ways our Game Changers have helped us Make A Difference Every-day.
Take a look at that incredible van! In June 2020, Gary Pinkel and his GP M.A.D.E. foundation gave a $15,000 grant to United Community Builders who were able to purchase the colorful 15-person van pictured above. April 2021 marks the two year anniversary of GP M.A.D.E. We are taking a look back at ways our Game Changers have helped us Make A Difference Every-day. G.P. M.A.D.E. gave its first grant to Wonderland Camp. It provides a safe, fun and educational experience for children, teenagers and adults with physical challenges.
On February 11, 2020 Gary Pinkel presented First Chance for Children with a $5,000 grant. The program provides cribs and basic needs for families starting out with babies and children. E.E. Cummings said, "It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." Our SLC Stars are a courageous bunch and we have no doubt they will become all ...they dream of and more. With everyone looking forward to turning the calendar to a new year, the winningest coach in Mizzou Football history is challenging Tiger fans of all stripes to help end 2020 in strong giving fashion. Pinkel, through his GP M.A.D.E. Foundation, wants to raise $100,000 in the month of December that will go to the various local and statewide charities it supports. This year has been remarkably difficult for everyone, said Pinkel, President of the GP M.A.D.E. Foundation. We’r...e all excited to move on from 2020, but it’s very important to remember that there are so many youth and children who need our support now more than ever. I’m confident that the generous people of Missouri and our amazing Mizzou fans everywhere will rise to this special challenge, he added. As an incentive to reach the 2020 goal, Pinkel, who won an MU-record 118 games and five division titles as Tiger coach from 2001-15, will offer special memorabilia to those who donate. Any $1,000 donation in December will be given an autographed football, autographed visor and autographed copy of Pinkel’s memoirs (The 100-Yard Journey). Any $500 donation will be rewarded with an autographed visor and book, while any $100 donation will be given an autographed visor. Donations are easily and securely made by visiting www.gpmade.org or https://bit.ly/GPMADE.
