Governor Thomas Fletcher House

Due to Covid and the current code red in Jefferson County, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the annual Chili Cook off/Pie auction in September as well as the Ghost Walk in October. The December tree auction is yet to be determined. It is a hard call as those events are what raise the majority of funds for the house but we have decided the risk to everyone involved is not worth it. We will keep you updated and pray we can at least see you all in December!

Our condolences to the family of Audrey Vreeland. She was a supporter and board member of the Fletcher House and gave countless hours to beautify and restore the house and property. We are forever grateful for her service and friendship. Many great memories were made at the Fletcher House. She loved the Hillsboro community and it’s history. Hillsboro loves you Audrey, may you RIP our dear friend.

Moving forward in the coming days and weeks it will be hard to monitor comments and post and we do not want to miss any emergency needs. The Hillsboro Christmas Parade is TODAY!! The weather is a little yucky but we will make the best of it and put on a great parade despite it!! Santa will be at ...City Hall before and after the parade for pics!! Parade lineup starts at 4 and the parade starts at 5pm!!
