Be Safe, Be Healthy, Have a Great Day!

As I'm writing many emails to my clients, contractors and designers now, I find myself beginning with "I hope this note finds you well"... I think this phrase means so much more now-a-days than the platitude it may have been in the past. The thing that has me thinking today is something a delivery driver told me this morning. He works for a tempering company and says that so much of what he's carrying now are protective screens for retail offices, doctors, pharmacies, etc. I asked for some information. Many sizes of these screens are pre-made and are readily available, but we can also have these made to fit particular areas. Let me know if these might be of interest.

Well, it's Earth Day! There is everything to hate about Covid - 19, but it does have one unforeseen aspect...cities around the globe such as Delhi and Beijing, that haven't seen a clear sky in decades, are now experiencing blue skies. No other way that the planet would just stop the majority of it's pollution. It's a tragic way to celebrate cleaning the Earth, but there you go. Should we look for a moral in this?

As we all go through the Covid - 19 crisis, I find an ever increasing respect for all Police, Fire, and Medical personnel. These are real heroes who stand and face this plague everyday, without fanfare or attention other than to their jobs and what they do to protect their patients, charges, and the general public from much greater harm. Don't put their sacrifices to waste! If you venture out, use your common sense and wear protective masks and practice social distancing. We will have to open ourselves up for commerce so let's avoid restarting this outbreak by being careless. We owe our friends, family, and community better than being selfish and avoiding responsibility in our interactions.

We have been cleaning all around the showroom and shop, and the crew vehicles have been scrubbed and will continue to be cleaned regularly. Everyone has been given hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes, and have been told to practice common sense to keep themselves clean with regular hand washing and cleaning of their work areas. If anyone displays any signs of fever or cough, the...y will be sent home until checked out and able to return via a doctor's instructions.
