We cannot say enough about the Captains Career Course soldiers from Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri that came on Saturday and did some hard and much needed volunteer work for our Good Samaritan of the Ozarks Thrift Store. They did a fantastic job and got so much accomplished. Our outdoor area, in photos that has been cleared, was backed up with items needing disposed of. They did many tasks we needed done and we are so thankful! Doesn't it look wonderful? We also had many new v...olunteers sign up too, that are soldiers stationed here as well, that were a great help inside our store. Many may not realize having our Thrift Stores looking and operating at its best helps to finance both our Food pantry and Domestic Violence Shelter - Genesis. Thursday July 16th, is USDA food distribution in Richland. Please note that distribution will be at the Shady Dell Park from 9AM-11AM NOT at the thrift store. This is a government program with income guidelines. Please see the chart to see if you qualify.

**No food day today in Richland at Good Samaritan of the Ozarks! Since moving our food day to Thursdays we did not consider the delivery schedule of food from the food bank in Springfield. This will not happen often (again in October) but the first Tuesday of July is the 7th and that is when we will get our food delivery. We apologize for the oversight. Food days for July are the 9th and the 16th. Please share!!

Thank you so much Brock Wommack for your generous donations to our organization!! Brock presented a donation from his parent's estate as well as a personal donation. He even went so far as to sign over his stimulus check to the ministry, saying "Let's feed some kids!"

**UPDATE** BOXES HAVE ALL BEEN DISTRIBUTED Today, Monday June 15th at 1:00 - 3:00 (or until it is gone) Our pantry will be doing a pop-up produce distribution at the St. Robert Community center.... There are no income guidelines or pre-qualifications for this distribution.

Today is USDA food distribution in Richland!!!! This is an income qualifying, government program. HOWEVER, qualification is quick and easy. Come down today to 112 West National in Richland, with income and address verification, to sign up and pick up your food! We have eggs, milk and frozen meat! Distribution ends at 11:00. However if you miss it, come to 1811 West Historic Route 66 Waynesville to pick it up Monday, Wednesday or Friday!

SURPRISE! Here we go again! If you came yesterday, PLEASE let others have the opportunity to pick up today! TUESDAY JUNE 9TH! Our food pantry will be doing another pop-up food distribution today at the St. Robert Community Center. Happening NOW and will go until 2:00 or until it is all given out.
