Good Meets World

Today, Good Will Jill and I (Deanna) took our first tour of Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Natalie, their Director of Marketing, shared with us all the details of why Stray Rescue, a no-kill shelter that serves St. Louis City and East St. Louis, not only relies on the donations from generous givers (they receive no government funding - only private donations and grants), but also an army of volunteers to help out each and every day. I was so impressed with their operation. Not on...ly do the dogs have an amazing play yard, but their kennels are large and spacious and you can tell these animals receive the love and attention they need. It was an honor and a privilege to present her with a $5300 check on behalf of the GMW businesses who support Stray Rescue each and every month - all of whom are tagged in the photo. Your donations ARE making a difference! The pup in this photo is GizMow, named after the company GizMow owned by GMW member Dave Kosanke. Her initial treatment was funded by his generous donation.
