Working with an amazing team you can create anything, including memories. Together with @wilker_dos, @brandy.studioaube, @workbenchconference and many others we celebrated the life of River Kelly Smith through an amazing build for the Smith family and @theriverkellyfund. We hope they make their own special and unique memories sitting around this beautiful table. Working on a project like this was very personal, and for it to be completed in 48 hours, was a challenge unli...ke any other. We couldn’t do it without a very few special people including the Millers who selected the gorgeous tulip slab from King City, Mo, Total Boat with Kristin and Mike who flew from Rhode Island to oversee the project and work with the epoxy for the River Table, and Gordon from ShopBot Tools who arrived early to get the slab prepared before the epoxy pour and who helped create the amazing centerpieces with the Millers. A HUGE thank you to April and Brandy!!! I don’t think there were two better makers to work on this project. April thank you for inviting us into The Wood Shed and being a brilliant host throughout the 3 days. Watching you work and learning from and with you was so inspiring. Brandy, we said this multiple times, but it needs to be said again, you are a BADASS! There’s nothing more that I want to see than girls all over the world picking up a welder and getting to work!
