I recently visited an 1850's working farm in NW KY. The smell of the tobacco was intoxicating, and made me think of our ancestors.

My grand son Carls' new ride. Won't tell you all we went thru to get to this point, but all is well now. As when you are dealing with used cars you win some and you lose some.

Walk where legends have walked!! If you have ever desired to play a course with a lot of history, try Dunedin Country Club (previously Dunedin Isles Golf Club),... in Dunedin , Florida. A Donald Ross designed course opened January 1, 1927. On July 1, 1945 the club officially became the first PGA of America home course. The Senior Tour Championship was played here from 1945 til 1962. Many of the greats played here. The initial PGA Merchandise Show was held here in 1954. Those who played here included; Tommy Armour, Patty Berg, Bobby Cruikshank, Jimmy Demaret, Walter Hagen, Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Gene Sarazen, Horton Smith, Sam Snead , Louise Suggs, Cyril Walker, Al Watrous, Jug McSpaden, and Babe Zaharias. Other celebrities include golfing great Bobby Jones and baseball legend Babe Ruth. The club is now on the National Historic Registry You will certainly enjoy it if you play this historic venue. Pretty nice honor but another NCAA championship would be better.
