It is with profound sadness that the Goldman Fire Protection District, City of St. Louis Fire Department, and the Hillsboro Fire Protection District announce th...e passing of Board Member/Retired Firefighter Brian Rudy. Brian served with the Hillsboro Fire Protection District in various ranks including Captain and Fire Marshal from August of 1980 until July of 1989 when he was hired with the City of St. Louis Fire Department. Firefighter Rudy served with the City of St. Louis Fire Department until his retirement in September of 2011. In 2018 Brian was elected to the Goldman Fire Protection District’s Board of Directors where he served as a Board Member until his untimely death. Services are as follows: a visitation will be held on Sunday December 20th from 3 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Civic Center, 10349 Business 21, Hillsboro Missouri, 63050. A firefighter walk through will take place at 6:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Honor guard is requested, please contact Kirk Uhrig at 636-633-1817 for further honor guard information. Brian served his community with honor and bravery for 40 years and will be missed by all that knew him. See more

The Goldman Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a new 3000-gallon Rosenbauer tanker. The new tanker (7613) is replacing a 27 yr old 2000-gallon Beck Spartan (7610).
