Today we learned about cake decorating. Thank you Candace 'Black' Moore for leading this project and to Koch’s General Store for hosting!

Thank you to Angela Helton for hosting another great Poultry Meeting! We really appreciate our Macon County leaders and their work to teach hard and soft skills to our members!

Reminder: We have a Cake Decorating Meeting tomorrow (Sunday, April 25, 2021) from 4 - 6 P.M. at Koch's General Store. Thank you Candace Moore for serving as an ew leader for this project. 4H preparation is underway!! This will be Bailey Zumbehl first year in beef! We are excited and in love with our calf that Gracie named Strawberry Shortcake (Ba...iley is not impressed with the chosen name lol) Looking forward to nicer weather and spending time with the kiddos working with animals!! Bugs! Thank you to Luara Walls for leading our Entemology meeting today. The kids are excited to go and explore in their backyards now!

Today our livestock members participated in a meeting at Baker Family Farms. A big thanks to our Beef Leader, Cathy Baker, for hosting during calving season!

Today our members in Rabbits and Gineau Pigs learned about tattooing and preparing for the county fair. A special thank you to our Project Leader, Travis Britton, a volunteer with experience showing rabbits for decades at the national level!

Join Macon County 4-H tonight after the 6 pm parade in downtown Macon! We are selling wreaths and trees!

This Friday evening (12/4), our club and other 4-H volunteers will host a small Christmas tree lot at Macon’s Christmas Parade. Please comment if you’re able to help. We will sell our remaining wreaths and fresh garland there. Meet at 5:30 PM at the Macon Chamber of Commerce. We will be done at 7 PM.

Show us your bows! We sold more than 350 wreaths this year. Comment with a photo of a wreath you have sold or put up this year!!!

As our families probably expected, TOMORROW NIGHT 630 PM, we will just have a drive-through meeting with no business meeting in La Plata or Atlanta. Instead, we will have a drive-through meeting at Atlanta Farm Supply. Please come to Atlanta Farm Supply and follow the arrows that we have provided in the map below. The red circle indicates where we will actually be handing out the wreaths and bows. Please bring money for dues and wreaths as well. ... If you didn't sell any wreaths this year, please offer to help other members sell their wreaths or offer to help come and hand them out. Remember, if you haven't completed a demonstration, please post those to a parent's Facebook page and we will share it to our club's page.
