Flooring is finished, tile backsplash has begun, range and dishwasher are placed, pending leveling and connections. Definitely beginning to see what the finished project will look like. The end is coming into sight, but the finish details take time.

The duplex had a large picture window in the living room that was not only cracked, but also provided no ventilation. Today we replaced it with a custom Jeld-Wen window, providing some much needed airflow through the duplex.

Progress is being made in the bathroom...the new subfloor and tub are in. Next up, tub enclosure and plumbing fixtures.

Folks sometimes ask "how is the neighborhood". Well, it's good enough that the turkey feels safe walking through the property.

To remodel appropriately, sometimes you need to take rooms down to the studs and subfloor and just start over. That's what we are doing on our latest project. Soon, we're will be able to begin to reassemble with all new materials.

Sometimes we've got to tear out all the old and start over. That is what we are facing with our latest project. The entire kitchen is being torn out, and the new white shaker style cabinets have been ordered. Between those cabinets and fresh stainless appliances, this duplex will be launched into the present.
