Pastor Liz here. Today I learned something new about our online giving platform: You can use your account routing number et. al. instead of a debit/credit card which would incur a fee. Now I've made contributions online before, but not regularly because I don't want the church to pay the fee, and while nominal, nor do I. But online giving is so easy and convenient. I want to use it all the time. Plus, this past week my handwritten check was rejected by the ATM because it c...ould not read it. (Any checks which arrive via mail are deposited via the ATM so that we can avoid going into the bank itself. COVID safety first!) So today in an effort to wrap up my August pledge, I thought well I'll donate online and learn how to print legibly next time. LOL. And that's when I discovered I could make a donation without using my debit card and, therefore, no fee! Learn something new every day. http://www.glendalepcusa.org/new-page-2
