It’s some weather here, but the calves love their snacks and winter coats keep them warm.

Rosie is a big help feeding calves!

Nose-tag weaning started. More work, better results, no stress on calves or Moms. Put in the nose tags, then they can’t nurse, but still with their mothers, so they don’t even notice. Moms dry up in a week and then we take out tags and separate to being feeding out the calves for market.

Today the girls (aka replacement heifers) got new earrings! Looking spiffy for the fellas. Any guesses why the numbers begin with ‘F?’
