Girls on the Run St. Louis

Girls on the Run St. Louis has virtual options for your girl this fall, and it's not your average screen time! Just like the in-person curriculum, virtual practices are led by trained coaches who will lead your girl through approximately 8 weeks of an interactive curriculum that will help her connect with peers, build confidence and get moving. Virtual practices are approximately 45 min. in length followed by independent workout and journal activities for girls to complete from home. Girls can participate at sites that are hosting virtual teams OR they can register for an all-St. Louis region team (open to any girl in our 23-county footprint). Girls on the Run St. Louis is SO excited to reveal our 5k in a box supplies for all of our teams that have been practicing, while masked and socially distant, in-person this season! At Girls on the Run St. Louis, there are four phrases we use to help us clearly communicate comfortable and uncomfortable emotions: I feel (fill in the blank), when you..., because..., and I would like for you to.... Next time you need to communicate how you're feeling, try using those phrases!

Lesson 9 of the Girls on the Run curriculum, sponsored by Ernst & Young, LLP, reminds us to choose to be friends with people who support us, have qualities we admire, and make us feel seen and heard.
