Girls in the Know St. Louis 30.04.2021

I went through ‘Sex Ed’ in 5th grade and only learned about my period instead of the wide variety of women’s sexual reproduction, sexual health, and mental health. It took a long time for me (I’m 26) to understand self-love and care, and it’s not a ‘one and done’ type of action. It’s a process every day to choose it, and sometimes it’s more difficult than others. These remarks are from a young donor. At GITK, we know that knowledge is power, and we are committed to supporting women and girls in our community with the knowledge they need to be empowered.
