Shanley Wilburn won lunch with Ms. Melissa at the Senior Auction, and invited Aniston St. Cin and Storie Buchannan to be her guests! They said it was Best lunch ever!

PK through 2nd are going to the Memphis Zoo tomorrow (6th): - Buses are leaving at 8:15AM. Don't be late. Kids cannot ride to the zoo with anyone other than the school. - Kids will eat their breakfast in their classroom before they load buses. - Kids will bring home their yellow shirts tonight. They have to wear them tomorrow to the trip. - Kids can wear shorts but they need to be school appropriate. ... - Parents are welcome to come but only parents, grandparents, or aunts/uncles are allowed to check out their students after the trip. - Kids have to stay with their school appointed chaperones the entire time unless a parent checks them out. - Please do not purchase meals for students at the park. The school is providing meals for all the students. - Kids will not be able to enter the gift shop. - We will be returning to school after school hours (approximately 6PM) and will post as soon as we know a better time for pickups. - Parents attending the Zoo have to purchase their own tickets and food as well as provide their own transportation. Congratulations to the Gideon 8th Grade Volleyball team for their 1st place finish in the Poplar Bluff Invitational Tournament today!

Gideon Intramural volleyball concludes tonight. The girls all improved throughout the season and we are proud to see their hard work and commitment.

Reminder - Next week begins Spring Break. Students will be off beginning Monday, March 29th and will return Tuesday, April 6th.

Our JH Volleyball teams wrapped up another successful season tonight! Both teams went undefeated this season, were conference champs and conference tournament champs!! Congratulations to Coach St Cin, Coach Williams and all the girls!!

Due to the continuing inclement weather conditions the Gideon School District will not be in session on Thursday, February 11th. Students have been provided lessons to complete on Thursday (either sent home with them or on Google Classroom). We know no one wants homework, but if students will do the work then we will not have to make-up the snow days in the Spring. This is part of a MO DESE approved Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) for this school year. JH and HS ... All of your lessons are on Google Classroom. A wifi hotspot is available on the school parking lot with school devices. Do not attempt to use it until the parking lot is free from ice.
