PLEASE NOTE: After the Parade of Lights, Santa will be inside the Depot at Legion Park. Children can stand on a bench under the window to visit with him and have pictures taken by their parents. The line to see Santa will form on the north driveway (closest to the highway. After seeing Santa, the kids can go down the side of the Depot to collect their treat bag, get a cookie and hot chocolate and pick out a free Christmas book.

Just a reminder: The Parade of Lights will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a cash prize this year for best-decorated BICYCLE so get those kids working on ideas! Come see Santa after the parade at Legion Park. We will be keeping Santa safe behind glass this year for photos, but there will still be cookies and treats and books for the kids. Plus PONY RIDES ($5) and live music. See you there.

Guess what? Some of you have mentioned you prefer that our meetings be held during the day. Well, we heard you! Our January meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 12 noon. AND we will feed you! Chili, soup, sliders and cookies. Please join us, no need to be member, we would love anyone's input. But wait, THERE'S MORE! Our February meeting will be a short one beginning at 6 p.m. on Feb. 24, so we can be done before our first ROUNDTABLE/TOWN HALL MEETING begins at 6:30. E...veryone is invited to attend the Roundtable to help brainstorm how we can rebuild our town and attract a new grocery store! Refreshments will be served, notice a theme here?
