Well you got that deer here's a great recipe from butcher Jim. 2 lbs ground venison 3/4 lbs ground pork 1/2tsp course ground pepper. 1 1/2 tbs mustard seed 1/2 tbs garlic powder 1/4 tbs onion powder 3 tbl Morton tender quick 1 tbsp liquid smoke. Combine all and mix well shape into logs wrap in plastic wrap refrigerate over night. Unwrap & bake at 300 for 1 hour or 60 mins which ever comes first remove let cool wrap in foil refrigerate or freeze. Let me know how you like it.
