We are still waiting on final approval from the City of St Louis Health Department on the opening of City-owned pools. So, we are not going to be able to start swim practices tomorrow. Hopefully, we will be able to start on Thursday, but it may be next week. We will keep everyone posted.

Swim practices for the Avenger swim team will be restarting on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Cherokee Recreational Center, 3200 S. Jefferson Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63118. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to restart our swim school, but we hope that will change by the end of the year. We do have some openings for kids 9 years of age and older. Our team's website is temporarily being shut down until return to swim practicing and competing. We are still waiting for news from the City of St Louis as to when their pools will reopen and when we will be able to restart swim practices and swim lessons. All news concerning the swim team will be listed on our Facebook page or via email to team members.

While we are waiting for the City of St. Louis to re-open the City-owned swimming pools, we are recommending this swim tether system to all swimmers who have access to an outside pool. Update: We are still waiting for the City of St Louis to open their swimming pools so we can resume practicing. All USA Swimming meets have been canceled through June. Our summer recreational swim league has canceled the whole summer season. We will get through this and resume swim team practice and swim lessons as soon as we are allowed. Quarantine can’t stop our team. Being out of the water can’t stop us.
