*** Next week is Spring y'all!!**** This ball of bees is called a bivouac, or more commonly a swarm. They can be anywhere from trees and shrubs to fenceposts a...nd sides of cars. Do NOT fear a swarm, They are simply resting on their journey to their new home. As the temperature continues to rise heading into spring swarms will begin to make their flights. Please do not spray them with any pesticides, water, flamethrower,etc or call someone to exterminate them. Call your local beekeeper. If you are in Northwest Arkansas or Southwest Missouri you are in our area! Take a picture of your swarm and send it to (321)614-110 or [email protected] Include the following: Physical Location, time you noticed them, if it is on your property or someone elses.
