May is Healthy Vision Awareness Month! Approximately 37 million adults in America have age-related macular degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma, all of which can cause visual impairment or blindness. We encourage everyone to take charge of their eye health and preserve their sight by making healthy choices and getting comprehensive annual eye exams.

If you sit at a desk or work on a computer all day, practice the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, take a break and stare at something at least 20 feet away for 20 seconds. This will help prevent eyestrain.
