What's the main job of your core? To protect your spine from external forces. Therefore, the most important exercises for the core should focus on stability, not necessarily crunches, sit ups, or twists. Here Jessica is demonstrating a dead bug variation. She is strengthening her deep core muscles which include the spinal erectors and transverse abdominis. These muscles work together to transfer movement between her upper and lower body, helping to stabilize the spine from m...oving in ways it shouldn’t. As a result, she is building a stronger, more stable core that helps promote coordinated, athletic movements while protecting her from injury. It's all about strategy. What's yours? #TrainForYou #TrainForLife #PersonalTraining

When FE client George goes to FLA, Jaime goes with him (virtually). Hats off to George who has become relentless in making sure his training is consistent, whether he is home in STL or on the beach in Anna Maria, FLA. #TrainForYOU #TrainForLIFE #PersonalTraining

Katie’s first In Body Assessment was 6 months ago, 5 months after having her first child. Since then she has been determined to get her health and fitness back to pre-baby days - and EVERY assessment has taken a step closer and closer. After this, her latest one, Katie has lost 17 lbs., lost 7.1 percent body fat, lost 16.7 lbs of fat mass, while not losing any skeletal muscle mass. She is there! And, even better, she's not done yet! From all of us at FE, Kate, congratulations on your accomplishment ... can't wait to see what the next 8 weeks have in store!

It doesn’t always have to be HEAVY!! Here Jaime added bands and kept lighter weight to add speed to his strength workout. Why? Because he’s strategically forcing his body to continue to adapt. #TrainForLife #TrainForYou #FunctionalElements
