This Friday night at 7, Friends of Arrow Rock will lead brave souls on a virtual Night Walk through the village. There will be dark tales, strange video and EVPs, and real locals telling real Arrow Rock ghost stories. It’s all online and only $10 per viewing device. Our Arrow Rock 1829 shop hopes to see you this weekend for the town’s Fall Open House. We’re giving you 40% off Halloween and Fall decor, and if you spend $10 or more in our shop, you’ll receive a free cutie bar of fine Missouri-made Herberia soap. We’ve got books, toys, gifts, and a fabulous new selection of small-batch candies. We open at 10 tomorrow and 11 on Sunday and are located right on the boardwalk.

We’re pleased to announce the arrival of A Spoonful of History, the brand new cookbook from the Missouri Governor’s Mansion. It includes recipes from throughout the state, including one from Arrow Rock’s own J. Huston Tavern. The Friends of Arrow Rock's Sip & Scroll silent auction ends this Saturday at 7 p.m., so there's still time to get in on some of the fantastic items and experiences being offered. A longstanding challenge for our town has been a lack of always-open public restrooms. Friends of Arrow Rock is going to change that! Through our partnership with Missouri State Parks, we're adding handicap-accessible public restrooms to the Tavern kitchen reconstruction project. The new restrooms will be located on the west side of the J. Huston Tavern and accessible from the outside. FAR is taking the lead in funding this project and we need your help. Public restroom construction is our fund-a-need project for the Sip & Scroll fundraiser that is underway now.
