Freistatt Fire Department

The fire district is building an addition to the fire station. Currently we house 6 apparatus in a 4 bay station. We are adding 2 more bays. This is what Freistatt Fire is all about....volunteers who give their time and personal equipment to make a better department for our community. They spend their evenings and weekends making their department better. Not necessarily with just money but with hard work, long days and commitment. We are very proud of the department that we have and all who are a part of it.

Freistatt Fire responded to a one vehicle car accident yesterday afternoon. The occupant was extricated by Freistatt Fire personnel. Thank you to Monett City Fire for assistance.

High terrain areas of northwest Arkansas deserve particular observation. Freezing drizzle can lead to dangerous travel conditions. Conditions which can deteriorate very rapidly.
